All paper used in the publication of the above artists prints is specially treated to neutralise its natural acidity. This protects prints from discolouration and deterioration

Limited Editions, Restricted Editions, Artist’s Proofs and Remarques

Limited Edition prints are signed and numbered at the time of publication and limited to a set number (normally between 500 and 1500).

Restricted Editions, although not numbered, are also limited. However, signatories may change before the publication is sold out.

Artist’s Proofs are an old tradition of reserving a quantity of prints for the artist’s use, usually restricted to about 10% of the edition. These are signed by the artist and numbered showing the quantity of Artist’s Proofs available.

Remarques are very limited (normally restricted to 25 prints) and carry a small original pencil drawing by the artist on the border of the print.

Once sold out a secondary market exists and the prints increase in value the rarer they become. This makes them not only a pleasure to own, but also an investment and often a unique and meaningful present for a special occasion.

We have shown the overall print size below each print. Please be aware that the image size is less than the overall print size. Each image is printed on high quality paper, the border being used for signatures.
