New Release - Remembering Marco by Colin Carter
A tribute to Marco Simoncelli, 1987 - 2011
On the 23rd, October, 2011, Moto GP lost one of its brightest lights when Gresini Honda's Marco Simoncelli suffered fatal injuries in a 2nd lap collision with Colin Edwards at the 2011, Malaysian GP. A remarkable and talented former 250cc World Champion, 24 year old Marco thrilled Moto GP fans with his aggressive overtaking manoeuvres and had everything to look forward to with a 'works' ride awaiting for the 2012 Moto GP season. His loss is tragic but his memory will live on......Ciao 'Super Sic'..

Concealed in the woods of northern France, Fw190 pilots break cover ready for a quick take-off to intercept Allied bombers in the summer of 1944.
One of the great fighters of World War II, the Fw190 for a time came to dominate the war-torn skies of Europe and was flown by many of the Luftwaffe's great Aces.

Burma 1944 - RAF P-47
The fighter pilots of the RAF had become masters of the sky over Burma and after weeks of bitter fighting air superiority was complete. The Japanese invasion had run out of steam and slowly, but inexorably, the Allies drove them back, fighting through the rains and floods in arduous conditions, strafing supply dumps and airfields, and divebombing enemy concentrations in unequalled precision strikes.

|  Military Bronze Collection
Featuring some of the most famous personalities from World War II - with more to follow.
Intricately worked in clay until totally life-like, each bust is with the greatest of care, individually cold cast in Bronze.
When this delicate and lengthy process is complete and the cast is set and removed from the mould, the artist skilfully burnishes each individual Bronze figure by hand to a radient finished patina worthy of the Louvre. Working in his own dedicated studio , the artist Peter Close completes every process on an individual basis, and entirely by hand.
